It's been almost a week since I did a real post, so I guess I'll make up for lost time. Here's what I've been up to. I went to Richmond weekend before last to see my friend Chrissy - whose Etsy shop I posted about - we did some great estate sale/antique shopping. Two of my great finds were the two dogs on the far left of this picture:
Some of my all time favorites! A bulldog, pug and boston terrier! I already had the terrier - I got him from a rummage sale at UNC Asheville on Earth Day - his leg was broke when I got him. I think the "pug" could really pass for any old American dog, but the tag said "pug" - so I was in.
The estate sale was great. Christina wanted to know if the amazing turquoise oven was for sale:
It was not.
I've also been tending to my house plants, of which I have many. I've had an anthurium since I moved out and it only bloomed when I very first got it. Well, after we moved into our new house, I set up this little window shelf for all the plants and they get a lot more light this way - a few weeks ago, I started noticing little buds all over the anthurium - like, a TON. Last week they all bloomed at once, it was totally amazing.
I've also been making some notecards and other goodies for the soon-to-be Etsy shop. You guys are VIP, so you get a sneak peek....
So what have the pugs been up to while I've been so busy??
Like it's their job.
Also, Clementine has taken on the challenge of turning herself into a loaf of pug bread:
What dog does this??? This is total Feline activity.
So, Sophie, Dixie - Clementine has decided to revise her math. She now claims to be 33% pug, 25% aliun, 12% cat and 6% baguette.
when I asked her what the other 24% is, she reminded me that she doesn't adhere to human math, but if that she had to guess it would probably be poop.
